Hi, I’m Mark woodsy Woods, and I founded two mutts AUDIO™ to meld my two life passions of music and technology.
Originally from the UK and a child of the 80s, I played in bands, helped out in a recording studio, and worked in a Northern club on sound and lights.
My earliest band memories are of walking our gear to a gig across town, with the drums in a wheelbarrow…
Now, after a professional electronics career spanning 30+ years, 20 with Arm, at the cutting edge of technology in Silicon Valley, I am finally building my own audio products company.
two mutts AUDIO designs and produces guitar effects, from reimagined vintage analog clones to high-tech digital processors using cutting edge embedded, DSP and machine learning techniques.
Our aim is to wow you with the sound and aesthetics, whilst quietly employing tech passions to craft the highest quality, most innovative and elegant creations.
Inspiration
The two mutts AUDIO name was inspired by the world’s most adorable shop dogs – Ruby, the hairy grey one, and Mr. Pickles, the black scruffy one – who are pivotal to the whole operation.
Our story wouldn’t be complete without my amazing creative wife, Maria – an artist, maker and photographer. Maria pens all our artwork when she isn’t crafting her own fashion accessories and home decor!

Our web store features guitar effects and accessories, limited run custom builds, and – building on my technology passion and past roles in the maker community – developer tools and parts for the DIY builder.
We are open to design and music collaborations, and seek beta-testers and reviewers.
