Hi, I’m woodsy, and I founded two mutts AUDIO™ to meld my two life passions of music and technology.
Originally from the UK and a child of the 80s, I played bass, guitar and keyboards – all fairly badly – helped out in a recording studio, and worked in a Northern club on sound and lights.
My earliest band memories are of walking our gear to a gig across town, with the drums in a wheelbarrow…
After skipping my A levels, I eventually went the safe route, via college and university, followed by 35+ years in electronics bringing me to Silicon Valley.
This blog will dabble in tech, but is focused on the art and science of writing and producing awesome music.
Inspiration
The two mutts AUDIO name was inspired by the world’s most adorable shop dogs – Ruby, the hairy grey one, and Mr. Pickles, the black scruffy one – who are pivotal to the whole operation.
Our story wouldn’t be complete without my amazing creative wife, Maria – an artist, maker and photographer. Maria pens all our artwork when she isn’t crafting her own fashion accessories and home decor!
